It’s time to take your collaboration skills off the conference floor and onto the pickleball court. The Meeting of the Minds Pickleball Tournament is where strategy, teamwork, and just a hint of competitive swagger come together. Think friendly rivalries, bold claims, and graceful acceptance when your “undefeated streak” ends sooner than expected.
That is not all, be the proud winner of the Jim Woodhead Award and get your name(s) on the trophy.
Bring a re-fillable water bottle to hydrate or water bottles will be provided. GAME ON!
Teams only – No lone wolves here. You must have a teammate to register and compete, so find your partner, talk a little smack (lovingly), and then sign up together.
Play or spectate – Not ready to test your reputation? You can RSVP to observe, cheer loudly, and offer unsolicited advice from the sidelines.
Prizes will be awarded – For the winners, of course. Everyone else gets character-building experiences and excellent stories. There will also be a side winner for most posts to the Whova app and Linkedin for best hype pre and post evet.
RSVP required for everyone – Players and spectators must RSVP so we can plan courts, brackets, and egos accordingly.
Presiding over the courts is our Commissioner, Jim Woodhead, Grand Poobah of Pickleball and final authority on questionable line calls. The event is expertly organized with leadership from Tom Nanci of CaveoPay, ensuring this tournament is as smooth as it is competitive.
More details coming soon, including team limits and registration instructions—but fair warning: confidence is encouraged, excuses are not.
Better together. Unless you’re playing against each other. Then… may the best team win. 🏆
